FISHTECH™, Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in the development of abalone farm design planning, construction, training, upgrading and marketing. Our headquarters are located in San Rafael, California, USA.

FISHTECH™, Inc. began consulting operations in the early 1980's by developing land based salmon projects. The company has been specializing in abalone research and consulting since 1986. During this period of time, FISHTECH™, Inc. has worked on every facet of abalone production from feasibility studies to the design and installation of both ocean-based and land-based facilities.

Additionally, FISHTECH™, Inc.'s work has included the development of on-site abalone husbandry training as well as marketing assistance. Some of our earliest projects included work in South America and Asia. FISHTECH™, Inc. maintains staff consultants in North America, Europe and Asia, and the Pacific Rim.

FISHTECH™, Inc. works with all of the major commercial species of abalone. Our Projects range in size from H. rufescens, the worlds largest, to H. tuberculata/lamellosa, one of the world's smallest sized.

In addition to FISHTECH™, Inc.’s long abalone experience, our strengths include a diversified, worldwide staff. No project is a “copy” of another. Every project is designed and operated to the unique specifications of the site and species.

Our roots are in technology. Starting in 1985 with commercial abalone cultivation in Northern California, we have been designing and developing the latest and most efficient abalone cultivating equipment and methods, both ocean and land based. FISHTECH™, Inc. has worked with many unique and different ocean cage systems. Our land based projects evolve as we bring together FISHTECH™, Inc. staff worldwide.

Land Based Farming
